HMV, Burton - 2nd June 2004
 
This section was submitted by Danielle B, age 13 from Burton-on-Trent. She went to the Burton signing on Wednesday 2nd June. It has her write up of the event in her own words, as well as her pictures and video.
 
I was outside the HMV in Burton at 6.00 am waiting to get a wrist band. My mate and I waited outside the store until 10.30 which was when the store opened. We looked around, and we started to talk to the radio presenter. We were in HMV all day. We waited 10 hours to meet you and it was worth every minute of it. When we walked in to HMV we started to queue up, and we waited for about an hour. Once you stepped out of the 'staff only' room, my eyes met you and I cried and cried, and when you came back inside I blubbed like a baby.

I couldn't believe that I finally met my ultimate idol. I still can't believe it. When you signed my poster and then you kissed my hand and hugged me and couldn't believe it. There is one thing that will always stay in my head and that is that when you were signing the first people's posters, I shouted 'Peter I love you' and you replied 'I love you to' and at that point I cried and cried.

I said that I wouldn't as I didn't want to make myself look like a fool, but I didnt, I made myself look like your ultimate fan. I will meet you again. I know i will, someday.
