	Riverside Studios - 21st August 2004

Peter appeared on CD:UK on Saturday 21st August for a live performance of 'The Right Way' and to face questions from his fans. Several members of the Official Forums went there and the following pictures were taken by Rob Plunton (pluntonr2000). The write-up is from Charlotte (terrific_tweety), and they both got to ask Peter a question each.


August 21st was not just my 16th birthday but also the day I was to go to London to appear on cd:uk to ask Peter a question live on television! To get there in time I had to get up at 3.30am to get myself ready so me and my dad could leave at 4.30am to get to ‘Riverside Studios’ in London! It was hell getting up that early…I’m not a morning person but in the end it was totally worth it! By the time we arrived at the studios it was 6.55am and we walked into the reception and were given stickers to allow us into the area we were sat in a sort of V.I.P area thing and the woman on the desk said we were ‘Peter Andre's’ Guests’ I looked at my dad and just laughed! So we went through and sat down in the café area and I was given a card with my question written on it, and was told I would be asking my question first! We were introduced to Jane who was going to be looking after us whilst we were there!

At 7.30am we went into the studio to do a rehearsal, where I realised that I don’t like microphones, especially after one of the blokes make me keep saying ‘how old are you?’ Holly, the presenter for the week, was really nice along with everyone else that was there! After the rehearsal all we had to do was wait until it was time to go in!
At about 9.30-ish (can’t actually remember the time but it must have been around that time) Mark came running to where we were sat saying Peter had just pulled up outside the side entrance so we all went running around to the side entrance! We got to talk to Peter and I had a few pics taken with him and a hug and a kiss! And as we were talking to him he was stood there rubbing my shoulder! This was probably the best time as he wasn’t being pulled away or told he had to go somewhere until after about 10mins he had to go to do a sound check, so he said bye and that and I got another hug.

After that we went back into the café and sat back down and I was talking to Hayley and Sabrina, soon Katie came out and sat next to one of the builders from house invaders! A few people went up to her and asked her for her autograph, and as I went up, someone sat on the other side of Katie said ‘No!’ but I just said i'd like to have his pointing to the man from house invaders. So I walked up to the bloke from house invaders meaning I was stood in between him and Katie, I was talking to him for a while and then I turned around and said to Katie (something along the lines of) ‘excuse me Katie, sorry to bother you, I was wondering if you could sign this for me?’ and she was really nice and said ‘yeh sure!’ and asked me if was enjoying myself etc. I found it quite amusing how I didn’t have to tell her my name so she had obviously been listening to what Phil was saying to me! I was really proud of myself of how I went about getting her autograph, and she was much nicer than I had expected! (Not meant in a nasty way!)
We were told that peter would come and speak to us and sign things before we had to go in and ask a question, but as he was running late he didn’t get a chance to get through all of us, and I didn’t get anything signed, but he said he would come back after the show! So we had to wait a little longer until we were taken into the studios to watch Peter perform! I was stood right at the side of the stage where they go on and off, and as he went on the stage Peter smiled at me, hehe! Then during the break they started preparing the set for the interview and we had to go and stand where we had rehearsed right at the front by the stage!! I was given a microphone, which is when I really started shaking and then holly started asking some question to Peter and then introduced me! I cant believe how nervous I was, he was looking straight at me whilst he was answering the question and I had no idea what to do, so I kind of just stood there with probably the cheesiest grin….EVER!! After everyone had asked their questions we went back into the café area and waited for peter to come out as he said he would sign some stuff!! When he came out Jane told Peter it was my birthday so he came over to me and said happy birthday and gave me a kiss, he signed the card with my question on saying ‘happy bday’ and his signature! He asked if I had enjoyed my day and stuff and then he got dragged off again but he thanked me for coming! We waited a while after for Jane to get our bags and that and when she came back we talked to her for a bit and I thanked her for the great day!!!

When we were walking back to the car we saw Chris, and I said hi to him, and he shook my dads hand and gave me a hug and a kiss, I asked him if he could sign something for me and as he was doing so my dad told him it was my birthday so he wrote ‘To Charlotte, Happy B’day Babe, hope you have a fabulous year, All my Love’ and then his signature! We talked a while and then said bye to him and he gave me another hug and kiss! All we had ahead of us now was a 2 hour journey home in which I fell asleep!!
It was the best day of my life so far!!! I couldn’t have wished for a better birthday and it’s definitely something I will never forget! It was great to speak to people from the forum, and they are all so nice!! I’d like to thank my dad for taking me as if he didn’t it would never have happened and my 16th birthday would have been the normal having family around, but this was so much more special!! So thank you dad!!! And thanks to Peter for basically being the great person and singer he is!!!!!
