London - 19th May 2004 |
| |
| Today Peter took over at FCUK Radio in Regents Street, London and spent an hour playing his choice of music. Peter sounded like he really enjoyed doing it and all the producers said he was one of the best guests they had because he just loved it, he was dancing and waving to everyone for the whole hour. The producers wanted me to say that they now 'FCUKING LOVE PETER'!! |
| |
| The pictures are from the crew of FCUK FM who also want to say a big thank you to everyone who listened and emailed in! |
| |
| He played a really great selection of music which included two tracks off his new album and Insania. |
| |
| He opened with Luther Vandross', 'Never Too Much' and followed that with Michael Jackson's, 'Rock With You'. He then played 'Candy Rain' by Soul for Real which is said was one of his favourite bands. He then went on to read out some emails. |
| |
The next selection of songs are one of his from his new album, The Long Road Back called 'Ooh La La La', which is a cover of the old Kool & The Gang Hit.Peter asks if it should be his next single after Insania. It has a great summer feel to it so maybe it would be a good idea.
Next follows Stevie Wonder's 'Lately' and Michael Jackson's, 'Who's Loving You' and Barry White's, 'First Last and Everything' - Peter wishes he could sing that deep! |
|
|
| |
| He then reads out some more emails, someone asks him to take his top off! Then he reads out the one from me saying hi to the forum regulars on this site. Me, Daan, Tracy, Lauren and Fifi. |
| |
| A slight technical hitch then happens when he starts to play Aaliyah's 'Age Ain't Nothing But A Number', it starts off as the wrong song but he talks himself out of the problem like a true professional! |
| |
Johnny Gil is on next with 'Rub You The Right Way', followed by Michael Jackson's 'You Rock My World'.
Peter then plays another track off his new album which is 'Untouchable'. Those of you who watched 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here' will instantly recognise it as the song he sang by the bonfire the night after Katie Price (Jordan) left the jungle when he was very sad. I loved it then, and am so glad it is a track on the new album.
He finishes up with two from Shalamar, 'Night To Remember' and 'I Can Make You Feel Good' and then the song which had been requested - 'Insania'. |
