These are some pics I took at the Glasgow gig. We were front row and Peter was almost as fab as the first time I ever saw him play nearly ten years ago. Hahaha, yes I was there first time around too! Was strange though, being 25 now and watching kids who have never seen him before going mad, a great experience! Reminded us of ourselves years ago! Scary!

Mackays’ Kylie Klub team were sooo excited about going to see Peter Andre (and his pecs) at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall. However, with only two songs we could think of, we couldn’t help but worry how he would keep us entertained. Well we needn’t have bothered…

The venue was pretty small only holding a few thousand people but this was actually to our advantage. It made it more personal and we could actually see Peter – even close enough to see he was wearing an Armani belt! There was a mix of fans from trendy teens in their crop jeans to mums on a nostalgia trip from the first time round.

Amid teen screams, Peter kicked off the gig with Flava, one of the songs from his first album which was actually his first ever UK no. 1. He then continued with a few more of his old songs and some cover versions. We didn’t’ mind that we didn't know the lyrics, as we were more than entertained by his fit bod - especially when he disappeared and came back on stage in an open white shirt – yummy!

He then sang tracks from his new album The Long Road Back including the pop-tastic Never Gonna Give You Up - which we reckon is going to be his next hit. Two lucky ladies from the crowd even got invited to sing on stage with him and each got a kiss at the end – we were sooo jealous! The album isn’t all pop though, there’s a mixture of soul, slushy ballads and even a spot of Latino too – move over Enrique!

Our SECOND favourite part of the gig was when he performed a cover version of Michael Jackson’s Shake Your Body To The Ground whom he cited as one of his biggest heros. You can actually hear the Wacko One’s influences in his singing and we were well impressed by his Jackon-esque dance moves too!

We say this was the second best bit as the ultimate was when he finally sang the much-anticipated Mysterious Girl. All the fans went wild and were dancing and singing their socks off. It was the penultimate song – but well worth the wait.

Before getting mobbed on stage with hordes of young fans, Peter finished with a performance of the hit Insania where he appeared in his I’m A Celeb…’ clobber on a jungle set. Cheesy we know – but that’s the thing with Peter Andre, what you see is what you get. He does exactly what he says on the tin!

All in all, Peter is a genuinely nice chappie and although not the most original artist, he loves performing and this shows – which makes him great to watch. Oh – and the pecs don’t do him any harm either!
