	Apollo - 30th June 2004

Peter played at the Apollo in Manchester on Wednesday 30th June. As well as his usual support acts of Shakaya and Twen2y 4 Se7en, he had DJ Casper there as well. See Dani Davies write up of the show below the pictures.

I arrived at the Apollo in Manchester about 7 pm to find a huge queue of fans already there waiting to go in. It took about 15 minutes before we got inside. By this time I was really excited so me and a friend went straight to the merchandise stall where they were already thousands of people waiting to be served. When I finally got to the front I bought one of everything that was there including t-shirts, key rings and cups.

After going to buy my things we went to find our seats. By now the atmosphere was amazing, you could hear people screaming, shouting and whistling. It was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves think, then the lights went off and the noise got louder and louder.

The music started playing then Twen2y 4 Se7en ran on stage. They were the first band supporting Peter on his tour. This band was really good I thought. They sang four songs then went off stage. Shakaya was next on stage. They were quite good too. (Shakaya were also Peter Andre's backing singers).

Without anybody expecting it the music started playing again, then DJ casper came on stage. The noise got ever louder when he started singing the Cha Cha Slide. He got seven or eight people up on stage to do the dance with him.

After this there was an interval. You could tell everybody was getting even more excited as everybody was chatting about Peter Andre and what he was going to sing.

We went back to our seats and were waiting about ten minutes for Pete to come on stage. By this time everybody was getting slightly impatient and wanted him to come on so we all started shouting 'PETER, PETER, PETER!'

He didn't come on stage for about another five minutes but when he did the whole Apollo went INSANIA! He ran on to FLAVA and the screaming of the girls was so loud it was unbelievable!

Half way through his performance he said 'Right, who wants to come up here and sing with me? Everybody screamed and then he said 'Who's got my album'? Everybody screamed. 'Ah, but this is where I get to see who's telling the truth' he said. 'If I pick you to come up here you will have to sing a song that's on the album'

Half the screaming stopped! He picked two teenagers off the front row and they went up and sung with him.The song was Never Gonna Give You Up. Near the end of the show he dressed up in his 'I'm a celebrity' clothes and he looked so fit. He started to sing INSANIA then after he had sung it he got us to sing it for him. It was ace.

When he sang MYSTERIOUS GIRL he got Diane Modahl out of the audience and sang it to her... he was soooo sweet. At the end of the show everybody stayed behind to see him leave but no one saw anything. He wouldn't come out because I think JORDAN AKA KATIE PRICE was with him but the show was amazing anyway.

HE WAS GREAT!!!!
