	Guild Hall - 23rd June 2004

On Wednesday 23rd June Peter Andre performed at the Guild Hall in Portsmouth. This account is by Tina Lee.

Hi my name is Tina and I went to see Peter Andre at the Guild Hall in Portsmouth on the 23rd June. Oh what a night!
I was chosen to sing a duet with him it was amazing. I was shaking so much .Jordan was also there and I could see her from the stage just smiling. Pete was so lovely I didn't want to let go of him, it was a wonderful experience and being in my 30's I didn't expect to be picked. I was overwhelmed. I would love to be able to thank Pete for that evening. He was wonderful. After the show he signed my Insania cd cover at the backdoor of the hall. If I hadn't of taken that with me I may never of had that fantastic experience Thank you Pete and I will be there at Romsey on the 1st August to see you again. I am so looking forward to it.

Please don't stop touring!!!



This is Ria Bailey's story of the Portsmouth show. She is 13 years old and from Portsmouth, and has done it as a letter to Peter.

Hi Pete My name is Ria, and I must say I am mad about you. I'm going to try and explain just how mad, so here goes. When I found out that you were touring and that you would be performing in Portsmouth I couldn't believe my luck, I was so excited. I had liked you before, but since being on 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' and seeing the relationship grow between you and Katie I LOVE you now. Anyway I went home and told my mum but she said she couldn't really afford it so she said that we would go down there early and stay there late to see if we could meet you, before or after the show, so I was fine with that. Then one day out of the blue my mum called me into her bedroom and gave me 2 tickets to come and see you, one for me and one for her.At that point I burst into tears, I was so excited, I just couldn't control myself. I cried for about an hour and then we worked out how many days it was and so I started my count down. It seemed like ages but now I see that it wasn't that long. Following this we got two more tickets, one for my friend and my cousin.

The day before the concert at school me and my friends started counting hours, I just couldn't believe in less than 48 hours I would be seeing you. We counted down hour by hour, then the day of the concert came. After school I got my hair done, had a shower, then had dinner and set off to the Guildhall where I met up with my friend and cousin. We all just screamed with excitement, you can imagine three teenage girl all coming to see YOU. We went mental! We arrived and the queue was really long so we sat in the car for a bit and then we began to queue. We already had our little Peter Andre tags around our necks, we got some strange looks that night but we just couldn't stop ourselves, this was the night we had been waiting for, for months. We eventually started going in we bought a drink and found our seats.

Soon the first act came on and we were on our feet enjoying ourselves. They went off and on came the second act who were also great. Then it was half time and I met up with some more friends who were also there before going and getting our pictures done with 24/ 7, your first support group. As the time went on we got more and more excited and then the moment came, we were sitting in our seats, the lights went down and there was an almighty scream ,oh my gosh it time! He's coming I thought to myself, all this time I have been waiting for this one moment, waiting for you. When the voice said your name guess what? I burst into tears once again. I no it sounds sad but I just couldn't stop (not until the next morning anyway). After giving my mum the biggest hug ever and I had taken some deep breaths I started singing along and dancing, every now and then it would hit me that it was you, and I would just stand there in amazement and have another little cry.

When you invited someone up onto the stage I really wanted to say pick me, pick me but then I thought what you might think of me crying my eyes out. I must have looked terrible so I didn't, I soon regretted it though when I saw you up there with the one you had picked. I just wished that it could have been me but it wasn't so i just carried on enjoying myself. The next bit was what made my night. You told us we could come to the front so I grabbed my friend by the hand and pulled her along. The next thing I know she is lying on the floor. I had pulled her over!Ii helped her up and we ran right to the front. I even touched your hand three times, I was so happy.

You then went off. We saw your water, we touched it and then a girl from behind us told us to have some, so we did. We put it back and then next minute there is water all over the stage. Some other girl had tried to grab the water and knocked it over so me and my friend were trying our hardest to let someone know about it but had no success. As you came on we were really worried that you might not see it, we were jumping up and down waving our arms in the air trying to get your attention and then you winked and stuck your thumb up at us, we looked at each other and both burst into tears. You had seen us, this was the best feeling of my night. When the show had finished we stayed around for a bit to let the crowd go down and then we went to buy our poster (which I am getting framed next month) and we met my Auntie who couldn't believe I was still crying.

This had been the best night ever. Now I am driving my whole family and friend mad by constantly playing your albums which are fab and I also wear a little tag with your picture on around my neck all the time. I only take it off to go to bed and have a wash. I hope this shows just how mad I am about you and how pleased I am that you are back. I am also so happy for you and Katie and I hope you're together forever.
