| It was a fairytale event, with Katie arriving in a glass Cinderella coach pulled by small white horses all with pink plumes, and each one had a footman dressed in silver top hat and tails. The coach was decorated in pink, with roses, lilies, crystals and feathers. |
| |
Katie's dress was pink with a tightfitting bodice made out of Swarovski crystals and a large wide Cinderella style skirt, adorned in 1000's of crystals. She had a large tiara with rose and clear coloured crystals in the shape of interlocking hearts.
Peter was dressed head to toe in ivory, with a long length jacket trimmed with Swarovski crystals and the entire waistcoat made out of the crystals. His hair was in a longer style which he described as 'Spanish Prince'.
Both outfits were designed by Isabell Kristensen.
Katie walked down the aisle to a gospel choir singing 'I Have Nothing' (Whitney Housten) and she had eight bridesmaids - Sophie Price, Debbie Andrea, Sally Cairns, Michelle Clack, Michelle Heaton, Kerry Katona, Sarah Harding and Faye Kruger.

Peter's best man was his friend - George Nicolaou.
The service was filled with emotion and tears, especially as Katie's son Harvey walked down the aisle after only being out of hospital for two days.
Katie's brother Daniel read out a poem which caused more tears and one of Peter's brothers recited a poem in Greek. Daniel's poem was titled 'Love Is'
More beautiful than roses
Much deeper than the seas
Stronger than a hurricane
But timid like a breeze.....
...Being there for always
Is all I want to do
Holding you forever
Because our love is true

There were a few minor hesitations with the vows and also a bit of ad-libbing with Katie promising to 'respect, love and be faithful always'!
A kiss followed for the new husband and wife.
As the register was signed the choir sang 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered'. |
| |
Peter's wedding ring has twenty princess-cut diamonds mounted in platinum and Katie's has thirty-five princess-cut diamonds, on a bridge of pink gold and encrusted with pink diamonds.
For the reception a large marquee was set up, all trimmed in pink with a large canopied walkway to it. The ceiling had tiny lights in it to look like a star lit sky.
There was a separating wall to the 'dining room' and this one had bay trees, crystals and feathers on each table.
The cake was a large five tier chocolate one standing five feet high. It was decorated in white chocolate roses and love hearts.

The wedding breakfast consisted of lobster salad, roast breast of Springfield chicken and heart shaped white chocolate and raspberry cake.
During Peter's speech he called Katie his 'absolute Princess of Princesses'.

Lots of entertainment was planned for the evening starting off with Tenors and Divas Incognito who began as waiters then burst into song which included the Grease medley.
Peter and Katie had previously recorded the Disney hit from Aladdin - 'A Whole New World' together and this was used for their first dance. It is a song that is special to them and was heard as their son Junior was born.
This was followed by Rowetta (from X-Factor), and then the drummers that led everyone outside to see a trapeze artist suspended from a white heliosphere. After this there were fire jugglers and a projection show on the castle walls.

Once everyone was inside Katie went to change and Peter sang 'Ain't No Sunshine'. She wore a tiny pink tutu with the bodice of her wedding dress.
They went to the Maldives for their honeymoon taking sons Harvey and Junior. |
